As a private, non-profit agency dedicated to children and families, 4C’s depends on the generosity of donors and friends. Ways to Give

As a friend of 4C’s, there are many ways to partner with us on behalf ofchildren and families in Alameda County. Upon receipt of your donation, we will send you a thank you letter for your records. Community Child Care Council of Alameda County is a 501 (c)(3) organization. All contributions are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by Law.

Matching Gifts

Many corporations and their associated foundations match contributions made by their employees or retirees to 4C’s of Alameda County. If your company has a matching gift program, your gift could double or triple in value. Please contact your personnel office for information about matching gifts.

Donate a Car, Truck, or Other Vehicle


Through our Vehicle Donation Program, you can donate a car, truck, boat, jetski, or other vehicle to help children and families.

We will arrange to have someone pick up your vehicle free of charge, take care of all the necessary paperwork, and give you a receipt for the fair market value to use as a tax deduction. You can even donate a vehicle that is not running, with some restrictions. 4C’s participates with a national program, the Vehicle Donation Processing Center, Inc., that assists charities by selling these items at auction.4C’s receives a portion of the proceeds generated. Your donation will help us continue to develop and coordinate resources to strengthen families and children.

Volunteer

We also welcome you as a Volunteer. There are a variety of opportunities, including providing free tax preparation services (training provided) at our Hayward office Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) site, or helping with special events, such as our Children’s Faire.

Here's an easy way to help 4C's help the community - Get a SHARES card and swipe it each time you shop at Lucky, Food Maxx, Save Mart or S-Mart Foods. Each swipe earns 4C's up to 3% of your purchase. There is no cost to you!
