Alameda Child Care Planning Council advises and makes recommendations to policymakers to ensure that all children and families have access to quality child care that educates children and enriches their lives.
Bay Area Male Involvement Network is an organization committed to providing support to men working in the field of child development and to providing technical assistance to schools and childcare centers that want to overcome the barriers to male involvement.

California School Age Consortium works to support and advance afterschool and out-of-school time programs and providers throughout California. The consortium offers training, resources, advocacy, and information to help professionals who work with school age children.
Community Care Licensing holds orientations for prospective providers, issues family child care/child care center licenses and enforces child care regulations. To attend a licensing orientation, preregistration and prepayment are required; call CCL at 510-622-2602. Center for the Childcare Workforce (CCW) works to improve the quality of early care and education for all children by promoting policy, research, and organizing that ensure the early care and education workforce is well-educated, receives better compensation, and has a voice in the workplace. www.ccw.org/
East Bay Association for the Education of Young Children (EBAEYC) is the local affiliate of CAEYC. The organization provides opportunities to meet and network with colleagues in Alameda County.

Infant Toddler Consortium is a statewide grassroots organization working to support and promote quality care for infants and toddlers statewide through multilingual caregiver training, public education, and advocacy.
National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) is the world's largest organization working on behalf of young children with nearly 80,000 members, a national network of over 300 local, state, and regional affiliates, and a growing global alliance of like-minded organizations. NAEYC is dedicated to improving the well-being of all young children, with particular focus on the quality of educational and developmental services for all children from birth through age 8.
